Ballroom Classes

We offer various  ballroom and Latin, Salsa classes 

• If you are a complete beginner and new to ballroom dance then why not join us on a Monday at 7pm   Thursday Evening 8.30pm,  or Sunday at 7pm.  We are gentle with beginners and teach you the basics. Please come along and give it a try!
• Intermediate class on Sunday at 5pm – or Thursday 8.30pm.
• Advanced class on Tuesday 7.30pm or Sunday at 6pm 
• Practise night Monday 8.30pm

What exactly is Ballroom Dancing?

Ballroom dancing has become especially popular in countries such as the UK in recent years because of ‘Strictly Come Dancing‘ on the BBC. This genre of dance is danced both socially for fun and competitively at different levels and is enjoyed worldwide. 

Ballroom has been around for over half a century and continues to gather popularity through television these days, but it was its connection with big live bands that was particularly attractive to fans of this genre in the past. This dance also comes with a number of core steps and patterns that you need to learn to move to a more advanced level dancer.

Why Try Ballroom Dancing

You might have watched a show such as Strictly Come dancing and find that you have a desire to give this dance a go, but feel overwhelmed. The beauty for me of ballroom, is that it can be highly competitive (for those who want to compete) but it is an incredible social and fun dance form also to try.
